Non-asbestos gaskets provide durable and flexible sealing and insulation in environments that are resistant to high temperatures, air, water, steam, oil, acid or chemicals. These industrial gaskets are made of compressed sheet material composed of fibers such as aramid and elastic binders. Aramid fibers are extremely strong and heat resistant. The rubber adhesive used enhances the mechanical properties of the seal and improves torque retention.
