Stainless steel flanges are pipe fittings with stainless steel as the main material, which have good corrosion resistance, strong rigidity and not easy to wear. Therefore, it is widely used in chemical, petroleum, construction, shipbuilding, medicine, food manufacturing and other industries. In order to prolong the service life of flanges, what should be paid attention to when welding stainless steel flanges?
.Clean up dirt on steel pipes and flanges.
.Grinding flange pipe straight pipe, giving metallic luster.
.If there are cracks and leaks in the weld, the original weld marks should be sorted out.
.When welding, the current should not be too large, and the flange should be cooled quickly to avoid damage to the stainless steel flange.
.The welding installation gap is 0, because sometimes the gap is too large due to processing errors, and it is easy to burn through during welding.
.Repeated heating is not allowed. If the flange is heated repeatedly, carbides will be precipitated, and the mechanical properties will reduce the corrosion resistance to a certain extent.
.When welding stainless steel flanges, it is necessary to observe the melting state of the bellows. Generally, 1 to 3 molten pools are melted at a time. Not suitable for continuous welding, especially when the gap is large, it is easy to burn through.
