Scope of application of grooved fittings

Grooved fittings are connector for piping systems used in buildings and industrial sites. It has a trench design and is connected by embedding two pipe ends in the trench and securing them with clamping bolts.

Grooved fittings are usually made of carbon steel or stainless steel material, with good strength and corrosion resistance. They undergo special processing and heat treatment to ensure that the connection is strong, the seal is reliable, and can withstand a certain pressure and temperature.

The groove connection pipe fitting which plays the role of connection and sealing is mainly composed of three parts: sealing rubber ring, clamp and locking bolt. The rubber sealing ring located in the inner layer is placed on the outside of the pipe to be connected, in line with the pre-rolled groove, and then a clamp is fastened to the outside of the rubber sealing ring, and then secured with two bolts. Due to the unique sealing structure of rubber sealing ring and clamp design, the trough connector has better sealing performance, and its sealing performance is improved with the increase of pipeline pressure.

Scope of application:

As an advanced pipe connection method, groove pipe fittings can be connected either openly or secretly, with both rigid joints and flexible joints. Therefore, it has a wide range of applications. Trench fittings are suitable for a variety of piping systems, including water supply, drainage, fire protection systems, etc. They have the characteristics of simple installation, easy disassembly and fast construction, which can greatly improve the efficiency of pipeline installation.
