Socket welded pipe flanges are usually used for smaller size high pressure pipes. These pipe flanges are connected by inserting the pipe into the socket end and performing fillet welding around the top. This can ensure the unobstructed hole and better flow of fluid or gas inside the pipe. The sliding pipe flange with wheel hub has published specifications, ranging from 1/2" to 24". Socket welded pipe flanges are usually provided with convex, flat or RTJ faces. When socket welded pipe flanges need to add high-end surface, for socket welded pipe flanges below 400#, the standard height is 1/16". For socket welded pipe flanges of 400# and above, standard socket welded pipe flanges The height increase is 1/4".
